what does the application process look like?
First, and most importantly, you’ll download the application from this page: APPLY NOW!
The application asks a variety of basic questions - from where you intend to go to school and your program, to how many children you have and their ages. In addition, you are required to fill out an income/expenses sheet as part of the application. Our bursary is meant to assist those who demonstrate financial need. This page is an important part of our decision process - please make sure you are filling it out clearly and accurately. (When the application is made available, there will also be an example budget sheet on the Apply Now page; please refer to it if you have questions!)
After the application deadline, our board will create a short-list of applicants with whom we will schedule video interviews. There may be additional questions asked about your application during those interviews.
After the video interviews are complete, we will reach out to the successful applicants.
What is the time-frame for applications?
Applications for the 2019-2020 school year will be available in March or April of 2019 on our website and by email. You can sign up to receive an email when it’s available here: Apply Now!
